"Yoga is like music.
The rhythm of the body,
the melody of the mind,
and the harmony of the soul
create the symphony of life.“
B.K.S. Iyengar

The way of living of many people nowadays is determined by a feeling of seperation in several  aspects, caused by characteristics of modern civilization. As it is the essential nature of the human being to strive for connection with the inside and outside world, a deep and often unconscious longing for these sensations is awakening.

"Yoga“, grown as a way of consciousness thousands of years ago in India, means "to yoke - union“. Being devoted to the practice of self exploration as the basic yogic principle, one can experience the element of union and sense a feeling of new gained liberation in many ways. The practice of Yoga regards the body as a tool to learn to feel inside and become consciously aware of oneself. In this sense the practitioner learns to open up in a holistic way experiencing an endless interplay of body, mind and soul.

Moving with determined sensitivity into different body postures ("asanas“), rhythms of the body are deeply felt: expanding and condensing, rising and sinking, tensing and releasing, flowing and coming to stillness.

The inbreath and outbreath are leading the body in the flow of movement and stillness,

calming the thoughts, allowing to be in the present moment, creating the melody of the mind.

In readiness to silence in the mind one can find the essence of Yoga: a deep sensation

of harmony of the soul, meaning liberation, content, union, life as a flowing symphony.
